TOILET FOR THE CHILDREN IN THE SCHOOL

We finaly put the toilet in the school for the children, the blue thing is a container for water to flush the toilet for now until we fix everything.

THE CLOSING OF SOSAEC HAITI

We had another painting and drawing day in the new school  in order to prepare the re-opening of the school. But we still have basic needs to buy plastic for the roof, woods to make benches and supplies to setup the blackboards.

 

TENT BUILD

The Staff of SOSAEC HAITI woke up early in the morning at 7 am in order to build the tent for school. These woods were provided by OM USA (The Team from Curacao) in 2010 after the earthquake in Haiti. They were visited the school and saw this great need and decided to build the tent for the school. Now, We move these woods to the new school.We are about to cover the roof with plastic until we have the means to cover it with sheet metal.We found a plastic from a friend and He gave it to us but it isn't enough to cover all around the tent as you can see in the pictures posting here and in anyway we should start working with the children on monday, we also have other issue: we have benches that can only seat 18 children, It seems we will have a difficulties  with the  school but We have faith!

 

TRAINING WITH TEACHERS

October 7th, 2012 at 12 pm to 4 pm SOSAEC HAITI had a training with the teachers before re-open the school on the October 8th, 2012. The Trainer came from downtown, He is friend with us and decided to offered his service to us! Thank you Lord.

 

VISIT TO THE COUNTRY SIDE

The Founder of SOSAEC HAITI, Jean Charles Jean William, say Thank you to all of his friends for their prayers during his trip this morning to the South East of Haiti. He had an emergency to go to the country side this morning in order to met with 120 students that he was helping in a government school three years ago.He spent 6 hours with them and 10 minutes with the Principal and now, He is home in Carrefour area. at 5h 30 pm he will go to church for Bible Study.
