Tomorrow is Haiti Anniversary of the Death of Jean-Jacques Dessalines. So,this morning in our school in Carrefour area, we invited a Teacher from another school in Carrefour to just come to our school this morning and gathered together all the children to helped them know that Story!

Yesterday afternoon, we started with the spanish lesson in SOSAEC HAITI - Carrefour area. It was raining, so all the student were not there. we hope all of them be there today as we work saturday and sunday.

CHILDREN SUPPORT

This child is a newcomer in SOSAEC HAITI School. She came from the mountains to the South of Haiti. She was not schooling and her parents meet with us and decided for her to be in Carrefour area at a member of her family  in order she would benefit education in SOSAEC HAITI. Thank you Lord for this child.
Ps: As you can see in this picture, she already starts with us but have no uniform yet!

SCHOOL SUPPLIES

This is the SOSAEC HAITI School in Carrefour area. These 10 children have no books for school, their parents provided the uniforms but can't really buy the books for them. Each of these children need $ 15 USD to have they manual. Thank you all for any consideration!

GARDEN'S LEADERS

There are the people that provided the four lands for the SOSAEC HAITI Garden, 3 lands in 3 different areas in Bouda Chita and one in Trouin area( Trouin is 25 minutes by motocycle from Bouda Chita) and we chose 4 from these people as leaders for each garden and then each leader will have a group of people to takecare of the gardens with, they will also provide report!!! So, SOSAEC HAITI will have to visit these 4 lands. By the way, we already visit one and this week, we will visit the others.

SOSAEC HAITI Garden Meeting

Yesterday afternoon, we had the second meeting in Bouda Chita about the "SOSAEC HAITI Garden". In that meeting, we gathered together some Youths, Adults and Old people. Firstly, we discussed together the best season for the plants and materials we will need to start with this famous project.
Secondly, we divided the Garden in 4 blocks with 4 groups ( 4 different lands), three lands in Bouda Chita and one in Trouin area (Gerard area).
This is to say we have 4 large groups working in that project. SOSAEC HAITI says many thanks again to Fire Missions for the seeds.

COMMUNITY INVOLVED

Yesterday morning, before Jean Charles leaving Carrefour area to Bouda Chita, He visited the work that the community started doing in SOSAEC school to repear the roof, the benches, the blackboards, toilet etc. in order to open on monday to have the children for school. Thank you Lord for these people! Ps: They are working for free and they invest their own money to do that.

LAURA AND JEAN CHARLES at the Government School

Today,School officially open in Haiti. This morning, Jean Charles went to the Government school where He is teaching since 2 years. So, He visited the students, the Principal and the Staff. He took Laura Van Dessel with him and met with all the students. So, Laura and Jean Charles spent 4 hours with them teaching some stuffs!!!
Normally, Laura and him will have 12 hours with them every week starting the next monday!
May the Name of the Lord be bless! Laura feels bless to have her Internship in SOSAEC HAITI. Praise God.

MANAIKA AT HER HOUSE

This afternoon, Laura Van Dessel and Jean Charles went to Manaika's Home for a visit and spent time with her in order to helped her writing a letter to her sponsor etc. Manaika is sponsored by Lori Snyder Bickford and Michael L Wagner.

National Education Ministry

SOSAEC HAITI assisted a student at the main office of National Education Ministry in Port-au-Prince this morning. Praise God! To God be all the Glory!!!

REQUEST FROM A STUDENT

Yesterday, SOSAEC HAITI received a request from a student in the North of Haiti mentioned if we can assist him to get his High School Diplomas from the main office of National Education Ministry in Port-au-Prince. Praise God, This morning, Laura Van Dessel and Jean Charles went to the Ministry office and we finaly receive all the Diplomas with other papers for him. To God be all the Glory!!!
Now, tomorrow morning, we will have to call him in order to know what day he will be able to come in SOSAEC HAITI for delivery....
