This afternoon, we went in the school in the countryside where yesterday, we met with a child who suffers with a severe fever, eyes turns very yellow (Yellow Fever) in order to pick him up to a hospital today. Laura Van Dessel, Jean Charles'Mother and Jean Charles were together to get to the hospital with the child. So, we went to the hospital with the child and his mother was there too. The doctor and nurses saw him and they said he is worse and need a treatment rapidly and they ask us to bring the child to the hospital tomorrow morning at 9 am again in order to see a specialist, very serious. but we should be there before that time in order to pay for the registration for him.But we don't know yet how much money they will ask us after paying for the registration and the medecines etc. Keep him in your prayers! we will stand with this child. Ps: There's no Health Centre in the countryside, this is why they need $ 9 USD for traffic to leave the countryside to come in leogane to see doctors

Well, The child suffering with yellow fever live in a poor family to the countryside of Haiti known on the name of Trouin. Because his family had no means to see a doctor with, they just stay home. So, I met with him in one school there and decided to look for a way to help him and his family. So,next week, I will go to the hospital with them again cause the doctor told me to come to the hospital with him again in order to have him for about 6 tests in the laboratory of the hospital, I didn't go with him the last week because there wasn't enough money for this. This SOSAEC HAITI that engaged to pay everything for him! Well, I'm waiting for your friend coming, that'll be great! is Annick working in an Organization? what is her purpose coming in Haiti? Je travaille dans le domaine d'informations et activités avec des personnes handicapées.Je ne vais pas souvent sur le terrain. J'y fais du travail de secrétariat . ANnick connaît bien Haîti, y a vécu parle Créole et nous a donné bcp d'infos en vue de l'arrivée de Laura. ReplyDeleteLes horaires d'Annick sont un peu compliqués. Elle ne sait pas si elle pourra venir vous visiter à SOS AEC. Une bonne nouvelle à vous dire : Elle a emporté du matériel scolaire pour les enfants (cahiers, crayons, gommes, taille crayons) . Ce mardi ou ce mercredi elle s'arrange pour que ça vous arrive à l''adresse de ruelle usine a glace toto 208 à Carrefour Paloma. J'espère que vous aurez la joie de partager avec les enfants avant de partir mercredi pour Buda Chita. A bientôt pour vous lire.
Bonjour Miss Paloma, C'est un plaisir de vous lire encore et merci de me tenue informer concernant l’empêchement de la visite prévu par votre amie "Annick", j’espère au cour du nouvelle an qu'elle sera en mesure d'effectuer cette visite. Bien, C'est vraiment une bonne nouvelle de ta part concernant les matériels scolaire, J'ai grand besoin ce genre de support comme beaucoup d'autres projets en cour!
